Suit Royal is a 2D turn based 1v1 card game with elements of poker where each player represents a faction and duke it out. With factions derived from card suits’ symbolism of the four classes of Medieval society, each suit has a unique playstyle based off its traits. The main goal is to reduce the opponent's HP to zero.

Each suit deck consists of 60 cards, excluding the suit leader cards. The deck includes 36 number cards and 16 faction cards (JQKA) which is inspired by the standard poker decks, however with the addition of 8 action cards to support and provide the players with more strategic options.

At the start of each game, players are provided with a deck which only comprises of one suit, represented by the leader card drawn at the start of the game.  Every turn, each player can only place a card (either a Number or Faction card) into the act zone.

Multiple action cards can be played per turn as these cards function as spells which disappear after use and will not count to the act zone card limit per turn.

Terminologies:

Act Zone:  An area for players to play their cards. After 5 cards are placed on the act zone, a chain effect will be triggered based on the poker hand tier of the cards played. The act zone will then be cleared before starting the next round.

Once a card is placed onto the act zone, it cannot be removed or rearranged.

Mana: The cost required to play a card in hand.

Types of Cards:

1) Leader cards: The card that represents the player's health. Each leader card includes special skills known as chain effect which are activated at the end of each round. The chain effect are activated based on the poker hand played that round. Playing higher rank poker hands will activate more powerful chain effects.

The leader card will be drawn randomly at the start of the game.

2) Number cards: Deal flat damage based on the card number played. Low numbered cards (Number 2 to 4) will cost 0 mana while high numbered  cards (Number 5 to 9) will cost 1 mana.

3) Faction cards:  They are the face cards of a standard playing card deck which includes the Jack, Queen, King and Ace. Faction cards cost more mana but they include skills that are more impactful.

4) Action cards: Supportive spell cards to help the player obtain resources like mana. Action cards played will not remain on the act zone and will disappear after use.

How To Play:

1) Each player will be randomly assigned a Leader Card at the start of the game.

2) Drag and drop a card onto the Act Zone. Remember that each card has a Mana cost. Once the card is placed, press the End Turn button and wait for the opponent to finish his move.

3) To use a Action card, drag and drop it on the Act Zone. The Action card will activate immediately and disappear from the Act Zone.

4) Another card can be placed after placing the Action card since the Action card does not remain in the Act Zone.

5) To use a Faction card, you need to have enough Mana points to use it. In this case, placing down Diamond K card will gain an Invincible effect, which will show up immediately.

6) Continue with the game and enjoy!
